Texas Instruments

For more than 10 years, Drivetech has developed real-time motor and motion control software  and hardware based on C2000 MCUs (24xx, 28xx, Piccolo, Delfino) and Stellaris ARM.  Experience in control software includes High performance Servo drives,  FOC (Field Oriented Control), Sensorless control, Generation and Power factor correction for brushless, induction and SR motors.
Our technical expertise lies in optimal control algorithm, component selection, hardware, power circuit and software development to meet performance, features, and reliability objectives at minimum cost.

We have recently upgraded the sensorless (& sensored) FOC control firmware for PM and induction motor drives based on TI High Voltage Developer’s Kit.
See "What;s New" page for recent announcements on Sensorless Control Technologies.

MicroChip
Drivetech developed real-time motor drive hardware and software based on Microchip controllers.  Depending on application, we will select the optimal controllers among a variety of controllers including PIC8/16/32 or dsPIC digial signal controllers, using MPLAB and C-compilers.  Drivetech has joined Microchip’s Worldwide Design Partner network to provide customers with technical expertise and cost-effective solutions in a timely manner. We can provide consulting services, hardware and software design, and prototype manufacturing services.

Applications include high performance FOC (Field Oriented Control) Servo drives, Sensorless control, Induction motor drives, Generation and PFC power supplies, induction and SR motors.  Our technical expertise lies in optimal control algorithm, component selection, hardware, power circuit and software development to meet performance, features, and reliability objectives at minimum cost.

ST Micro
ST
Micro offers a variety of Microcontrollers for motor control and power electronics applications.  We will select an optimal controller from 6/16/32 bit families such as ST8, ST7MC, STM32.

Optimized, documented C firmware libraries for control of 3-phase PMSM or AC induction brushless motors. In torque or speed control with STM32, sensor mode, sensorless for PMSM. These are the standalone libraries of the STM3210B-MCKIT.

Other Controllers
In addition, we have experience of working with many other micro-controllers and DSP’s from Analog Devices, Freescale, NEC, etc.
