Drivetech
has recently developed innovative Sensored and Sensorless FOC firmware for 3 phase induction motors. Test
results showed excellent performance at low speed operation, fast speed reversal, and load torque disturbance.
Sensorless control can now be applied in many severe applications where sensorless control was not suitable.
Current version is based on Texas Instruments C2000 MCU’s, although the same algorithm can be implemented in
