Drivetech is a technical consulting company specializing in the analysis, design
and development of customized AC/DC motor drives, motion control, and power electronics application systems. Our technical
expertise lies in optimal hardware and software design to meet performance, features, and reliability objectives at minimum
cost.
Established in 1997, Drivetech has developed both low-cost and high performance converters,
generators and drives for DC motors, brushless, induction, and Switched Reluctance motors applied in industrial, appliance,
automotive, medical, aerospace and military use. In addition, Drivetech has experience with starter-generators,
grid-connected inverters and power systems using Wind power, Tidal power and Photovoltaic.
Dr. Dal Y. Ohm (Founder and Chief Technical Consultant) has more than 20 years
of practical design and academic experience in motor control and power electronics. Drivetech has moved to the Metropolitan
Washington, D.C. area. It is located approximately 10 miles South of Dulles Airport (IAD). In addition to office space,
Drivetech’s laboratory is equipped with necessary tools to perform design, prototype development, tests and performance
evaluation.
